During our day tours, our experienced guides will ‘introduce’ you to Melbourne General Cemetery’s who’s who, while giving you fascinating insights into one of Australia’s most historically significant cemeteries.

#BeBoldForChange - Celebrate International Women’s Day 2017

Visit the final resting places of famous women in the historic Melbourne General Cemetery in Carlton.

They include Lady Janet Clarke, remarkable society woman and philanthropist;  Dame Pattie Menzies, Prime Minister’s wife and supporter of women; Lady Elizabeth Barkly, wife of the Governor who is buried with her infant son; Florence Young, popular singer and actress; Louisa Barrow, resilient partner of Sir Redmond Barry; and Mietta O’Donnell, prominent restaurateur. Learn about their fascinating stories and celebrate their lives on this special day for women.

All tour proceeds are used for restoration projects.

Cost: Adult $15, Concession $7.
