The Melbourne Mausoleum

The Melbourne Mausoleum was established in 1998 and was the first inner city mausoleum to provide for the community of Melbourne.

This prestigious bluestone building has been designed to complement the historic surrounds and provides high quality above ground burial options.  Only a very limited number of crypts are still available.

A number of prominent archways provide striking framed views of the surrounding cemetery landscape.  Light filtering through these archways softly reflects images of the surrounding cemetery environment onto the crypt frontages.

The Melbourne Mausoleum incorporates four impressive family rooms.  Each room is exclusive and  provides a prestigious, private area for family members to rest in peace together.

If you would like more information regarding family rooms please contact us.

Two chapel areas within the Melbourne Mausoleum provide both pair and single crypts in prestigious locations that are protected from the elements.  All crypts within these areas allow for bronze lettering, design features and ceramic photos to be placed.

True Companion crypts are provided in the colonnade areas of the mausoleum.  Colonnade crypts provide clear views of the adjacent historic cemetery landscape and allow for bronze plaques.  Design features and ceramic photographs may be incorporated if required.

Traditional vigil lamps which allow for floral tributes to be placed are used within the Melbourne Mausoleum.
